If you listened to Christian music at all during the 1970’s and early 1980’s, you were no doubt moved by the music of Keith Green. Keith’s rolling piano style, liquid vocals, and convicting song lyrics all combined to create one of the most original voices in Christian music at the time. Even today, some 25 years after his tragic death, he continues to influence musicians in and out of the church. In fact, I was surprised to learn that his widow, Melody Green, still runs Last Days Ministries, which they began on their farm in the 1970’s.

When I sit down to play the piano today, there are two people from my youth that my subconcious is still listening to. This is one of those musicians. In an age where Christian Contemporary Music is creating too many clones of one another, it’s refreshing to sit back and remember a truly great artist.

Thanks for leaving a comment. There are so many folks who never heard of Keith Green. I am still amazed and blessed by the songs and ministry of this guy. He seemed so raw and disciplined. I never met him but it was like he sat in my living room and challenged me with each song. Even yesterday as I sang ‘My Eyes Are Dry’. God bless you, bro.

i have been looking for songs by keith and i thank you for letting those of us living in none english speaking countried to be able to do so. i am saved and love jesus, and when i listen to keith green’s songs am encouraged to contiue serving the lord for i know am not crezy, this is a real calling. than you once again

Keith had been a blessing to me personally. When i introduced his songs to my Christian friends, each of them confessed that God’s anointing is still active in his songs. May i request all available videos of Keith in concert please?
